Courses
We offer a wide range of training courses for Microsoft Access.
Each Course is tailored to the specific requirements of the student,
and where possible, a copy of their database is used as the teaching
model.
The tutor is a full member of the Institute

VBA Course
A standard 4 day course is offered in MS Access/Office VBA which takes
a student with a little knowledge of programming through a series of
structured lessons designed to teach them the rudiments of good style
and the importance of standards and robustness in their code writing.
An example database together with an 80 page illustrated manual is provided.
Fast typing is not a pre-requisite as nearly all the code is available
on a cut and paste basis from the database. MS Access security is dealt
with in some depth.
Mentoring
Often employees have enough general expertise to use a database
however, they may have difficulty in formulating complex queries or writing
a small piece of code in order to present the data in the desired format.
A mentoring service is offered where a consultant will sit at the workplace
and work through the problem offering options, ideas and demonstrating
the opportunities offered by the MS Office suite.
